Middle Ground proposes a new sub-typology of the library: a pet-friendly public space. Acknowledging the divide between pet owners, who often lack inclusive spaces to spend time with their pets, and those who prefer traditional, pet-free environments, this project offers a middle ground. As the culture of bringing pets out into everyday public life continues to grow, the library aims to serve as both a proposal and a catalyst for a more pet-inclusive future.
